A safe and non-toxic sunscreen for the whole family! This tallow sunscreen is packed with nourishing fat-soluble vitamins and antioxidants to benefit the skin and work with the sun.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz grass-fed tallow
  • 2 oz virgin coconut oil
  • 1 oz beeswax pastilles
  • 3 oz jojoba oil
  • 2 oz non-nano zinc oxide powder
  • .5 oz cocoa butter (optional, for smell)

Method
 

  1. Sterilize a glass jar (or container of choice) for storage.
  2. Place the weighed tallow, coconut oil, beeswax, jojoba oil, and cocoa butter (if using) into a double boiler.
  3. Allow everything to melt completely and then whisk well to combine.
  4. Add in the non-nano zinc powder and mix well until combined.
  5. Allow mixture to cool slightly and then transfer into your storage container.
  6. Leave jar alone until the mixture cools completely.
