Hello, I’m Emma!

I’m so glad you’re here.

Her Humble Home was created to help women find the joy and beauty in homemaking and motherhood. I wholeheartedly believe this is one of the most important jobs! This doesn’t mean that it’s an easy task or that we should do it in isolation (it was never meant to be this way!). Since before the birth of my first child I’ve had the privilege to be able to be home to care for my family and children. It’s the hardest but most rewarding job I’ve ever had. Staying home to care for your family takes immense self-discipline and continual improvement if you desire to do it well. That’s why I believe it’s essential for us women to learn from and inspire one another on this journey.

Here on Her Humble Home you can find simple yet delicious meals to nourish you and your family, homemaking tips and tricks on a budget, inspiration and resources for how to bring the life of the Church into your home, and health-conscious alternatives for the whole family.

A little more about me…I’m an Orthodox Christian, wife, and mother of two young children. I have many interests and hobbies and some of them include photography, knitting and embroidery, gardening, and doing puzzles with the fam!
